Application Reviewers - Slate Development and International Co-Production
Job description
We are looking to engage reviewers to review applications for two new forms of funding within the UK Global Screen Fund: Slate Development and International Co-Production (Majority).
The UK Global Screen Fund
The UK Global Screen Fund (UKGSF) is designed to boost international development, production, distribution
and promotional opportunities for the UK’s independent screen sector.
Role Outline
Reviewing funding application materials in relation to assessment criteria including international potential, creative and/or budget
Reading feature scripts, TV animation scripts and/or documentary treatments and visual materials
Providing written reports including analytical commentary and numerical scoring against specified criteria
We are looking for candidates who have:
Demonstrable experience in film and/or TV development and/or production gained through full time or equivalent roles
Demonstrable experience of reviewing scripts for film, TV animation and/or treatments for documentary
Excellent written communication skills
Demonstrable knowledge of the film and TV sector in the UK with strong understanding of the fiction feature, documentary and/or animation sectors
for Slate Development reviewers
Understanding of development budgets
Understanding of the international landscape for UK film and TV productions
Demonstrable commitment to the principles of diversity and inclusion.
Applicants can choose to apply to review on one fund or both. Successful candidates will be paid a fee of between £75-£300 per application reviewed, depending on the fund and the volume of materials involved. Payments will be made on a per-application basis.
